I have a favor to ask of you. Please help me spread the word about the Chinese Summer School the last two weeks of the summer for enter K to 10 year olds. We still have spots, and the Chinese teachers including Lanyu (from our community school) need funds soon to start buying supplies and plan. If you're planning to sign up, please do so soon. If you're still figuring out summer plans and might sign up, I'd appreciate a heads-up too. Thanks!

Last weekend was a fun one. Friday evening, we went to Tom Brady's Best Buddies Challenge at the Harvard Stadium. It was for a great cause, supporting those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. There was a mock game, where Tom and his Patriots buddies Julian Edelman and James White and Troy Brown played with volunteers. My son had great fun watching the game and seeing his hero Tom Brady throw for every play, and athletes and kids (including two of Brady's) and even the governor played with good humor. There were a lot of smiling faces, and many excited kids eagerly shouting out their heros' names during half time, hoping to get an autograph. What a great way to kick off the summer! Did I mention it was free and my kids got lots of yogurt snacks? Catch it next summer! :)
And can anyone tell me what's going on with all the rabbits? After a quiet winter, we started seeing them again, here're two of the three we saw right near the Hoyt Field tennis courts. Maybe they like watching tennis games, my kids said. ;-) We enjoy saying hi and bye to the rabbits on our way to school too.
What are some of the fun activities you're enjoying these days with great weather? Let me know! And maybe I'll see you at the Dragon Boat Fest this Sunday? ;)
