Friday 5/04/18, 8pm, Sanders Theatre, Harvard University
MLK Mom Pamela! - Join us for an evening of glorious music in the splendid setting of Sanders Theatre, as Music Director Pamela Mindell leads the Chorus in Bach's Wedding Cantata 196 and Mozart's Requiem.
The program also features two movements from Johann Michael Haydn’s 1771 Requiem Solemne. Michael Haydn was a friend and mentor to Mozart, and this is a rare chance to hear how Mozart’s Requiem reveals the influence of the earlier work.
We’ll be inspired as always by our outstanding professional orchestra and soloists: Neva Corbo-Hudak, soprano; Emily Harmon, mezzo; Jesse Darden, tenor; and Ian Pomerantz, baritone.
Tickets in advance or at the door: $25 general admission; $15 students and seniors; or pay-as-you-are-able.
Available through the Harvard Box Office
