Museum of Science's Newest Exhibit Opens: All Aboard! Trains at Science Park

Sunday 11/18/18, 9am, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

The Museum’s newest temporary exhibit, All Aboard! Trains at Science Park, invites you to experience a classic winter landscape. Miniature trains, snow-covered peaks, engaging hands-on activities, and even a few surprises await! Centered around a large mountain display, powered model trains at three different scales (G, O, and HO—if you don’t know what these letters mean now, you will!) run through various colorful scenes. You can also check out smaller wooden train tables where you can lay your own tracks and engineer layouts—moving trains by hand and around curves.

Expert train model makers are on hand on select days—creating tiny trees, adjusting tracks—so you can ask questions and learn more about the art and science behind model making. It’s a great way to welcome the winter season with your friends and family at the Museum of Science!
