Saturday 12/08/18, 9am - 1pm , MIT Lincoln Laboratory Beaver Works
For older kids. This workshop will introduce middle school students to electronics and programming by letting students build games with Makey Makey circuit boards and programming them with Scratch!
Each student will build a simple circuit and experiment with conductive and non-conductive materials like metals, rubber, plastic, playdough, ink, bananas, cookies, and more!
After building a working circuit, students will learn the basics of programming by assigning actions to each key on their Makey Makey board. Students will then have the opportunity to build their own musical board or electronic game by applying the skills they learned.
