Family Firepower

Saturday 11/21, 3:30pm - 4:30pm, USS Constitution Museum

Join us on Saturday, November 21 from 3:30 – 4:30pm to experience USS Constitution in a new way– as recruits on her historic gun crew! Participating families will learn about the tools and teamwork required to make USS Constitution a successful warship, both at the Museum and on the Ship with a US Navy sailor. This training will then be put to the test with a mock gun drill on the Ship. The program ends by observing the firing of the Ship’s ceremonial gun at sunset. Recommended for youth age 10 and up and their families.

Family Firepower is designed with social distancing and other precautions to ensure a safe and engaging experience. Families are required to wear face coverings for the duration of the program and follow the Museum’s visitor policies.

This program is free with museum admission: $10 per adult, $5 per child. Advanced registration and payment is required. Register here and a museum staff member will respond to confirm attendance and collect payment.
