Sumbul is in her first term on the City Council and is the youngest City Councilor. She’s also the only Muslim on the City Council. A lawyer by training, Sumbul moved to the US from Pakistan when she was 2 and ended up in Cambridge after her parents won the lottery for the city’s affordable housing system. She graduated from CRLS.
